Yesterday, on the 4th of July, all those fireworks were not only for the celebration of the 249th year old republic, but also a celebration of the bill that was rushed through Congress at lightning speed. It was officially signed into law by POTUS, Donald J. Trump, just as many of us expected.
I knew it was going to pass. Everything else leading up to it was pure political theater.
But now the real question is: what’s next?
Mr. X, yes, I meant Elon Musk, has openly threatened to launch a third party that could shake both the left and the right. His so-called America Party could be a game-changer. Whether it succeeds or fizzles and fades out like many that came before, remains to be seen. I always wondered why the obsession with the letter "X".
Anyways, but let’s not forget: this is a man with a nearly a quarter-trillion-dollar networth and an online army of over 200 million loyal followers. Underestimate him at your own risk.
Whatever move he makes next, there will be consequences, political, economic, and cultural. As for the drama that’s surely coming, well, I have got my popcorn all ready.
