Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
And to let you know, this is a quote from Thomas Edison and you should know why he said that.
Just in case you forgot, he was the man who invented an electric bulb, and he did so by making thousands of mistakes and finally came out with something nice and brilliant for you and I to enjoy.
So no matter what, never make your mind to give up. Life is all about falling and rising until you get to where you can tell yourself, yes I succeeded.
Stay blessed, and I know it has been a while since I updated you.
All is well with me, just too busy to balance the time sheet. Haha!!

10 Years ago in New York aka The Big Apple

The heart of New York, and the event that changed everything.
In the history of our world, a lot came and left, with men of all caliber popping up the show and in the end, it all went down flat as if, nothing ever happened.

Well, one of the outstanding events that will forver be well coated into the memories of many especially those of us of the 21st century generation and even forever was the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the twin towers in New York, Shankville in Penns State and the Pentagon in DC.

I wasn't in the country at the time, but I heard a lots about it and some of the possible architects behind the designed attacks. Remember Osama T-shirts were all over, and news had it that some folks across the planet had a big time jubilation and applauded him for a job well done. I wonder sometimes who humans are? we celebrates blood shed? unbelievable.

It was a joint and planned event to say, which took away almost 3000 souls from the surface of planet earth. And today marks the 10th anniversary, a lot indeed happened for the past 10 years. And I don't know whether it's that symbolic to mark the 10th anniversary by eliminating the master brains behind this Al-qaeda's mission, yes Osama Bin Hiding I am referring to. Just last months ago, he was killed in his hideout in Pakistan, and only God knows if he was still alive to the 10th, he might have insighted more attacks.
But his teachings has left behind a lot, and he of course had successor just like any organization does.

Evil has no place on our world, but we as humans does aides its existence and that is why we are in trouble.

As we remember this day, we pray that the lost souls might have eternal rest, conform to the families and friends, and that peace and love will forever reign over us, and then have the end of terrorism come to an end.
God bless

The day Irene came to town.

Thank God for science, needless to say we as God’s lovely creatures will forever be grateful for his many gifts for us. All I was hearing a couple of days earlier was, “she is approaching from the Caribbean seas”, and shortly we could see footage of damage from her side from in the Dominican Republic.
On and on, the forecast had it that, we in the East Coast of the United States were the next on line to be hit. A category one storm is nothing but massive and scary enough to put all the human chickens into a sleepless night with more worries especially all those dwelling in low laying areas, thus below reasonable sea level.
East Coast was the Carolinas especially the North, Virginia, New Jersey and then New York. Emergency warnings/messages were sent out with enough aides to say, from the government to get people to a much safer grounds. And by Saturday, the 27th of August, Irene was getting closer to town.
From my part, we were little further away from the targeted areas by Irene, but we still had to make ample preparation since according to the last storm that visited town, the basement at home was flooded to some degree. And even though his time we had some pumps to get rid of the water, and the likes and even a backup generated in case we lose power just like other residents of the Big Apple endured.
Sand bags were carried to vantage areas to blog waters and a lot was done, yes to be forewarned is to be forearmed and get ready for the unknown. By 4-5am of Aug 28th, the arrival of Irene which was long forecasted was felt right in my house, though pipes were pumping with a lot in place, we still feared water was soon going to be gushing into the basement. And was hence called out to push and sweep waters.
I was highly frustrated with this archaic style of …. At first sight, but before I realize my umbrella in the one hand as I push water in the other was thrown away and there was complete excitement in what I was doing. And shortly after that, I was dancing. This then gave me a full understanding of the saying that, if life gives you lemons you make lemonade, thus, I found happiness in the pains of being beaten by the rain.
Finally, for a couple of hours, it all ended with what I will say, a long story, but in the end, Irene made away with 10 lives plus a damage worth a billion dollar. But it could be more than that if we didn’t have the gift of science to help us think and execute precautionary measure in that regard. No drop of water was found in our basement, and everything ended successfully. May the souls of all the departed fellows through Irene rest in peace, but for rebuilding damages, the wisdom of God will get us there.
I will say together with many others that, no more hurricanes and no more natural disasters; they are draining all our meager resources which could go a long way to help us manage our miserable lives. God please listen to our prayers-Amen.
Have a wonderful one all you my great friends.
Friends are greatest gift of God.

Zero jobs but great weekend awaits

I don't know what the hell is wrong...wait a minute, did I just say that? Well I bet because the chief economist reported bad news today that, zero (0) jobs, I meant nothing good was added to the bleak high unemployment rate cum the anemic economy. Can you belief that? And it's said to be the first time since 1945 that the country has experience such news, and it is just the first time for everything in a long time. Did you forget the great American downgrade few weeks ago by S&P, where America was brought down from it’s AAA to AA+??, you better not for it’s still very fresh.
And jobs to me..…. I meant zero, is unbelievable, wait….does it mean Dunkin Donuts ,McDonald and  the other fast foods in town didn't even hire a part time bus boy to the company? Well, it's called Friday night and Labor Day weekend in the US and you should be hanging out somewhere  around town to get off the hook of Mr. Crazy life. TGIF. Cheer up!
