Happy thanksgiving to you all my great pals out there

Dear Pals,
Well, it was here again as thanksgiving. And this year, it came on Thursday 11/24/11. So nice that, I was fully home. Wow!!, I didn't do a lot though, just some little running ups and downs my room and the kitchen to get stuff going.

Do you know that folks in this part of the world celebrate this day with a turkey? turkey to let you know, is the most expensive domestic bird you can think of on our planet. But, it' the the bird of choice set aside to be used for meals in thanking God for all that he gives to the nation and its people.

Not everybody beliefs in God, but everybody across this nation of over 300 million people enjoy this holidays. You should have watch news yesterday to get the idea of the number of people moving back and forth to join families for this day. And whether you knew it or not, according to the National Turkey Federation, an estimated 46 million turkeys are consumed across the nation on thanksgiving, and I think it's a lot.

Anyway, we had a beautiful group in the house, and out of love, we shared this wonderful day with a beautifully cooked 17 pounds turkey, the meals and drinks, sealed it all with a wonderful dessert in celebration of uncle Eu's birthday.

However, I think this occasion is very appropriate, though we don't always have to wait for a year at this time to give thanks. Everyday, we must always wake up with thanksgiving spirit every morning for reasons that, we have this wonderful gift of life. Not all who desires it does get it.

Happy thanksgiving again, but we shouldn't only give these thanks for our successes, also in times of failures and challenges as well, for the ability to go through those.

Stay blessed everybody.

Much love,

Ronnie
