Happy 2014 to you all

Hello everyone,

Behold, here comes  a brand new year, 2014. It amazes me how fast time flies as I am an adult. I used to be very happy whenever it was Christmas and or New Year. All the gift and the trouble free thinking. But now the story is different, it doesn't mean that I am not happy to live to see these wonderful end-of-year festivities but it just means that as an adult I now have responsibilities and that makes it not too fun.

However, there are so many good things in all of that but life as we all know will not always go the way we want so we might just have to muster the best possible tactics that will help us go with the flow of time. It was sad yesterday to see 2013 roll by knowing that it will never ever come again as far as time is concerned but happy to usher in 2014 believing that it is full of uncertainties. We know there are a couple of smart people in town who are not necessarily telling us what the future holds, but is most likely going to hold. Simply because they call themselves futurist and predicts the future doesn't mean they know it all. They might be very smart and respected by our crooked society which is fine with me, but one thing is true, they hold not the keys to the future or they have not the answers to what tomorrow holds. Only the Creator,God knows.

Many of us suffered all kinds of pains or traumas, frustrations, disappointments, broken hearts, lost of love ones, and a whole host of misfortunes. But in suffering comes the opportunities we might be seeking for a life. Now that we are in a new year, most of us have long lists of resolutions; be it to get a good paying job, marry, lose couple of pounds of weight or gain some, graduate from college college, buy a home, reconcile with family and friends and the list goes on.

All of that we definitely will need, no matter what the cost involved. We also need to from time to time look ourselves in the mirror and acknowledge that we are not perfect and sometimes we hurt people who love us dearly and deserve our every attention and respect. We are humans and need to always behave a such no matter the situation. No need hurting others to get our self-absorbed, narcissist interest across. Love one another etc.

May this brand new year be more of a joy than misery, blessings than curses, financial break through than bankruptcy and all your resolutions come true.

God bless,

Pal Ron
