Horror of Evil Witnessed in our World Today

Evil is contagious, to mean that it spills from one man to the next and to the next and to the next. Today, a little town in the State of Connecticut in the United States of America called Newtown saw what will go down in history as one of the worst horrific shooting incident in America. Can you imagine sending your five or six year old to school only to hear in the late morning that he/she has been killed by some psychotic assailant?. That feeling is what some 20 plus parents are going through and would continue to grieve over for the next couple of months and probably for the rest of their lives. I don't think they will ever forget this. Not only the children though but with some eight adults including the perpetrator of this horror himself.

I'm still devastated with all of my joy and happiness gone to have heard and see on the TV knowing that, the media does have their ways of marginalizing stories but this particular one is true. I have two friends in Connecticut and they each confirm the truth. Of course I don't have to know those people to share their pains. These are innocent babies with no clue of what the world is all about. Some of them are even in school not purposely to learn but to be there so that their parents can go to work so as to be able to put some food on the table. 

It is clear that those who survived this will never be able to forget this  day seeing their one time class mates killed in cold blood. That picture will remain forever in these heads.

Anyway,investigations later had it that the gunman is a 20 year old  Adam Lanza with zero history of crime and live in one of the the most quiet and peaceful neighborhoods in Connecticut. What motivated him to commit this crime is yet to come out but apparently who will answer those questions? unless a suicide note or something is found on him later. But here is the breakdown of his crime; he is said to be the only one who did that act, and his mother is said to be  a teacher in the school, thus Sandy Hook Elementary School where this incident took place. Adams accordingly popped into the school, killed his own mother, twenty children, and six other people and then himself dead. Nobody could tell at this point whether he killed himself or the police did. Among the adults he killed includes the principal of the school. 
However, this whole thing has created so much fears in people everywhere you go and that is the issue of America and guns. If someone doesn't like you and want you dead the only way that could be possible is by guns. Sometimes after some few years of jail sentence, they are back free to go and live their lives. This year alone has seen a lot and a lot of such deaths including the movie theater attack in Aurora Colorado, Sikh Temple attack in Wisconsin, the Oregon Mall attack early this week and now this one at CT.
I hope government, whose sole responsibility it is to protect its citizens will have a second look at guns control legislation to see how best this big elephant in the room can be gotten rid of.
Of course this twenty year old couldn't be able to buy all those arms to commit this massacre but could have them through some means. Preliminary findings said he got the arms from his mom. If true, the mother is dead and hence the price or the burdens bored.
Evil has carried the day that is all I can say. Stay safe and happy holidays.
