Most folks just hate to be told the truth. My entire life I haven't had anybody told me anything that is the real truth about me and I'm not even referring to criticisms. I just want to say that I love truth and no matter how it is presented, its shape or size if only it is true about me , I'll love to hear it. I'm also not talking out opinions formed by others about me many of them often miss it anyways.
However, the condition of truth as we all know is to allow suffering to speak. When you see the truth about a brother or a sister, a boss, coworker out there and muster the courage to tell it as it, please know that the consequences are not far from you. Because of that, more and more people are not fans of truth telling or let me put it this way, the average person is never courageous enough to voice it out as it is.
Now let me ask you, why do you think is the rationale behind this mess in our world today, poverty, wars, diseases, our broken financial issues etc? you might probably be wondering it is because of the many evils we do, that might be right but it is more than just saying evil. Most people out there see the truth and refuse to speak it because of the negative feedback they might get. Many are also sleep-walking and I just keep wondering how long this sleep walking business is going to take place?. We can all pretend but in the end no one will be exempted but instead we will all face the ugliness of our silence.
Blessed are those who have friends like me to tell them the truth that they hate. I just wish I have people to tell me truths when it is due. Sometimes, I tend to be ignorant of what is going on in our world but I won't personally look at it in that regard. Who knows? that is me and why it is that way I can't tell. I think I lose good friends more quickly than I make them sometimes because of that attribute in me, but should I just succumb to the flow of the forces and keep mute where I'm suppose to speak? I don't think so with respect to my bowl movement.Oh wait,! please your advice is always welcome to why I should probably change for good or bad.
To be quiet when you are suppose to speak is not beautiful so why should you?
Let's be passionate about truth telling, that could be a therapy for the ailments in our world.
1, 2, 3-Speak Out!!!!

Behold, the new successor of St.Peter Pope Francis I
Ok, here I'm.... to mean that I made it to the end of the week. Mine was a hell of a week because I was writing papers upon papers but thank God is Friday has just been presented to me. While it was a crazy week on my side, I was simply happy to see that the church (Catholic ) has been resurrected with the election of a successor of St. Peter.
Remember when Peter, James, and John were on the mountain where Jesus was being transfigured, Peter upon answering Jesus's question of who do people think he was?-made the Lord to declare to Peter that, he was the rock upon which he will build his church. So the first Pope since the beginning of the Catholic Church is believed to be St. Peter. Peter's Basilica in Rome is said to be built on the ground where Peter was killed by the Romans over 2000 years ago.
Anyway, we saw the election of Pope Francis I, the 76 year old Argentine citizen who is now automatically a citizen of the Vatican City,Rome. What a joy that is? he is also the first Non-European to be elected in over 1000 years and the first from the Americas, South to be specific. So this conclave led by the Holy Spirit did wonders to all of humankind; see we think and plan and God laugh,ha!!. The most interesting part of this whole election was that, the then Cardinal Jorge, Archbishop of Argentina was not on the list of Cardinals that people even in the hierarchy of the church were speculating could be elected. The power of the Holy Spirit indeed.
The new Pope assumed office immediately after his election, and that is the nature of his calling into the office, no inauguration was necessary. His election of course became a moment of great importance when Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI called it retirement.
We simply thank God for his sacrifice for the church and wish him very well, and as we welcome Pope Francis I, we pray that God would grant him the wisdom to deal with the brokenness not just in the church but in the world at large.
Habemus Papam!!in latin; meaning (We have a Pope) in English!.

Mr. Hugo Chavez- R.I.P
News reaching me while I was at the barbering shop on Tuesday had it that, Mr. Hugo Chavez passed away to his lost battle with cancer. He was only 58 years old.
I was sad to say the least. I did a presentation in my Spanish class on him and through my intensive research, I got to realized or know the man is a true hero who rose from poverty into the military and then to become the president of Venezuela in South America. Man, to fight and win a battle against poverty is what I will call a true heroism. Not an easy fight I will tell you.
I have a lot on him, but where will I end with that story? all I will say is, may he rest in peace and may the current political affairs in Venezuela be brought to a very successful note. Good luck to his successor for they will be a lot to handle considering where the country stands with other powers in the world.
God speed to his family, friends, and the people of Venezuela for their lost.
Humbly,
Ronald

Mother Ghana @56!
Hello, wait!,.... what? so today happens to be 6th day of March, 2013? oh yeah, and that means today in 56 years ago was when Ghana my beloved country gain her independence from the British Colonial rule. It was an accomplishment at the time that was envied by many in the Sub-Saharan West Africa.
This milestone couldn't have been possible without the efforts of our late visionary leader Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, who still in Ghana's history is hailed as one of the nation's amazing heroes, of course.
Time truly flies and I can still recall exactly when it was the 50th anniversary Jubilee some 6 years ago. It was an amazing moment to see the celebrations that was hallmarked across the nation while I was in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.

Our history is fresh and we for some reasons has been lucky to had come a very long way and will continue to do so with divine providence from God.
Happy birthday mother Ghana and may you live long and prosper in the years to come.

Wow! A piece you should read Pals
I think you should check this out pals.
Growing up means learning what life is. When you're little, you have a set of ideals, standards, criteria, plans, outlooks, and you think that you have to sit around and wait for them to happen to you and then life will work. But life isn't like that, for anybody; you can't fall in love with a standard, you have to fall in love with a person. You can't live in a criteria, you have to live your life. You can't wait for your plans to materialize, because they may never materialize the way you think they will. You can't wait to watch your ideals and standards walk up to you, because you can't know what's yours until you have it. I always say, always take the first chance in case you never get a second one, but growing up takes that even one step further, growing up means that you have to hold on to what you have, when you have it, because what you have- that's yours- and all the ideals and criteria you have set in your head, those aren't yours, because those haven't happened to you.By C.
