Here we go with yet
another highlight of geopolitics in Turkey which kept many across our planet
mesmerized. I don’t know what made the military in Turkey thinks that they
could topple the regime of President Recep
Tayyip Erdoğan. According to news report, at least some 40 service men
and perhaps women have been killed in an exchange with pro-forces. The
president made a statement earlier this morning that his government is in
control of everything and that the men responsible for this unrest in the
country will pay for their actions in full. At the moment thousands of arrests
have been made following the failed coup through their imposition of Marshall
Law. Mr. Erdoğan is a democratically elected president and as a result he
has the full support of the United States and NATO or OTAN depending on which
part of the world you are. I still can’t comprehend this but I guess this is
what happens when there are so many unhappy campers under a certain government,
and hence a brief word on that. Stay informed, watch and pray.
