Racial Voilence On the Streets of America

There is so much about race in America that makes it hard for the average man to comprehend. In fact it's more complex relative to racial diversity itself in America and yet there seems to be no way we can see reconciliation among racial divides. Of course I am talking about the latest killings in Baton Rouge, Louisa and Dallas, Texas respectively.

It is also true that when you are on the streets of America as a black man,  you are often viewed differently and instantly becomes a target of police brutality and I am saying this not because of what I heard somebody somewhere said, but from a very painful personal experience. However, to target the police as a form of revenge is never the answer. There are so many ways voices can be heard and issues of this sort addressed but not in retaliatory violent ways.

Today's killing of some three officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which is just barely a week after five officers were killed in Dallas,Texas. And at this point it is safe to say the motives behind these police killings are complex racial relations between police officers and especially black men on the streets of America. There is frustration, anger, and to some degree gross feelings of injustice felt by the marginalize and it is true there is the need to be a way for people to hear the truth and the struggle the black man endures on daily basis. To live in a country that claims to be free and yet being stopped, harassed and oppressed because of your skin pigmentation is a moral disgrace.

So it is my hope that people of good moral conscience and with power will find ways to patch up these tensions in society or more blood will continue to be shed and innocent lives of  both the civilians and the police will be lost on the streets of America. So help us God.
