9/11 after 11 years

Today marks the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks at the world trade center in New York in 2001. On this fateful and horrible day to many across the United States and the world at large, people including myself sitting in front of this PC couldn't fathom what happened and why that happened.
It has been 11 good years and people are stilling feeling the impact of that day. Many people lost their husbands, wives, children, grandchildren etc. It was literally a day of reckoning if you want or an embodiment of an Armageddon. The world trade center which was a monument of the financial capital of the US/The World was destroyed to the grounds, steels and beams were turned in to huge balls of fire amongst others. People fleshes were torn and scattered into pieces as they struggle to escape the horror, some even jumped with desperation from the very top of the towers. Did they deserve such a death? Gross innocence to say the least.
But whoever was responsible for such heartless act against humanity obviously would be answerable to God for it. All I can do is to pray those departed souls to and those of many other innocent people who had to lose their lives through the hands of evil driven folks may have eternal rest. A woman from Ghana was there; she just migrated to the US and got a job there as a janitor, hoping to make some money to get her into school. And only God knows the rest of the story and why it was the way it was.
Well, in the end, almost 3000 lives were lost; properties worth billions of dollars were gone. Even the cost of medical care for responders alone cost a fortune. And as resilient as the US is, alongside the state of NY, the towers are on their way to reconstruction, just to mimic what was pulled down after completion. This time, it might even be greater than those destroyed at ground zero. God have mercy on man and the lost souls.
