The Big Court Case of the Land Yesterday!

" I am not guilty
Finally, finally, and  finally, the long  and one of the most sensitive court cases of the land; if not in history was  brought to conclusion, after juries deliberated that, the 25 year old Florida mom being accused of murdering her 2 year old daughter, was found not guilty. The said verdict was likened to a big slap on the faces of many across the nation and the world at large; who were following the case closely and expecting some justice to take its place.
The whole incident started in 2008 after her little girl was believed to be missing and shortly after that, was found dead in the woods with duct tape on her mouth. This however, resulted in her young mom's arrest and thrown into jail with the conviction that she killed her daughter. It could be so or else why didn’t she report to authorities that her daughter was missing but instead the baby’s grandma did?
All things been equal, there was a whole lots of evidence surrounding the missing and death of the poor little girl, and after 3 years in jail, her case was awakened and it became one of the most sensitive cases in modern times that the world had seen. Many also did believed she could face death sentence if found guilty of the crime. Her bodily presentation through out her trials was worth questioning. Since she giggles and laugh, and sometimes she shed tears, of which others will term “the crocodile tears” and so forth. They executed series of investigations into this case, and everything possible on the side of the prosecutors to find her guilty, but some how, her attorneys also worked hard, if that is how we should put it, to secure her another tomorrow.
It was good news indeed, at the end of it all when the verdict was read in the court room, every thing was “no guilty” and everybody was shock. There were millions of people watching the case live. I was busy in town and couldn’t get the time to, but I would have loved to watch. Don’t forget I am a potential Lawyer, and would have used my …. To determine which direction those law professionals were heading.
Things happen and this was certainly one of them. After yesterday, everything from there was great news greeted with joy by her and her attorneys. I heard him, her attorney being interviewed on TV last night and one of the things he said was “I am happy and if I go home today and my daughter ask what I did; I will be able to say, I saved a life”.
To mean that, if he was not able to defend his client's ,  she would have had to face death penalty.
So, the little girl’s case finally came to an end, and the mother is now a free woman. She was only said to have been convicted of one or two misdemeanors and with that, she my have less than a year more to serve in jail since; she has already served 3 full years.
Justice is not for everybody now as far as this case to me is concern; else she would have had her share.
Guess what! Whether she did kill little daughter or not, is between her and her God, the blood of the little girl, if truly was shed by her hands, will follow her until in the end where she will account for it.
Her attitude wasn’t good after the little girl was supposedly missing, she went partying, tattooing, and fooling and these things are what make everybody angry. Remember, action s they say speaks louder than words. And I think she should have gotten some extra years in jail to learn that lessons about life, and that life is precious and when you lose somebody, especially your blood, you don’t go hoodwinking, but instead, go in submission with the help of others to look for the person. Justice must always take effect else, the strong, powerful, heartless ,will BBQ as all.
Thanks for reading.
