It’s called the “United States of Anxiety” (USA) and beyond

For the past couple of weeks, there has been series of bad news from home and abroad. And from abroad; the nation’s 31 good and finest combatants of terrorist in Afghanistan were shot or claimed to have had a crash with the chopper helicopter and lost their lives. May their souls, rest in perfect peace. And then, the world market was in tremendous decline, more plots from terrorist and the rest rendered the above name (United States of Anxiety) very appropriate.
News from the crashed chopper bird had it that, 22 of the Special Forces who lost their lives, was from the navy seals. Guess what? They are actually said to be from a broader unit that invaded the late Al-Qaeda’s CEO’s compound in Pakistan, thus Osama Bin “Hiding” and killed him. A lot will definitely emerge later but, but some people think, it was a revenge of Osama’s death.
But hey!! One great thing you should grasp from all these happenings is that, our world is a place of imperfection, and our own mistakes more often cost us than we could ever imagine. But, I for one, I’m very optimistic and pray you should as well that, what ever be the case, life will always go on. Al-Qaeda will one day succumb to the will of the 21st century international community’s desire of human rights crusade. Al-Qaeda is unacceptable simply because, they bathe in the blood of innocent people. And with that; their people will not experience what is good for them, and their development respectively.
All I blame on Lucifer for misleading men of good will into evil one. I rest here.
With the market scenario, it came apparent that, S&P(Standard and Poors), had to downgrade the US of all, from its AAA ratings status to an AA+ and this to be honest with you wasn’t good news at all for the good people of the America and the entire planet. I am not an economic guru but I know what it meant to downgrade a nation from a certain ratings to the next. For the case of US, I believed it was because the debt ceiling debate wasn’t very favorable for bond holders and foreign invested, and lending institutions which they feared that, a time may come when the nation will not be able to settle its debt obligations.
But one thing you and I should also know is that, the US is still in good shape no matter what, and the downgrade here simply doesn’t mean that they are going to lose their status of being a major trading component, but it means they just slipped from a excellent ability of debt repayment to an excellent status.  And then, the anxiety came in when the market was suffering, people holding shares in the market were in greater panic as usual when the market doesn’t favor them. And, the interest which many public retirees does expect to accrue for them to live on as  invested, doesn’t yield them any result and by and then, the anxiety builds up. Businesses faces the same ugly story with no choice than to lay off or halt hiring new employees and everything seems to be falling apart with unemployment on record high across the globe.
There was also a great civil disobedience underway in the UK, and of course when something of that nature does happens, many folks take undue advantage of others, to better themselves. A lot of damage was causes, people lost their homes and businesses and reserved resources for national good was disbursed in an effort to calm peace and put things where they belong.
The riot of course, lasted for days and the damage after the dust was settled was estimated massive worth millions of pounds. And I know what that could possibly mean to people in the nation and around the world. When the people where out on the streets rioting, looting and damaging properties, others in some parts of the country and even outside the country, where in great anxiety especially those in politically unstable nations. And the reason being that, theirs could be next, after England.
And the whole thing made no sense to why people should be behaving like they did.
It also became apparent that, anything could always happen and at anytime, nobody is safe, whether peace mongers or not, there will always be times when the devil will strive to use other people heads to play soccer.
But thank God things got back to normalcy in the UK, and the economy is striving to take a good stance. We all know why America stands tall since time immemorial and, it had always being because, they always believe in possibilities, and I will not be surprise to see the country back to its AAA ratings by the and of 2011, sounds like a fantasy to many economic analyst for sure.
But in the meantime, don’t forget to always say your prayers before and after bed. We are the global citizens and are all in great anxiety since  will never know what tomorrow has in store for us.
Much love and peace to you all.
But remember not to get too anxious especially over what you can’t control. Send forth your remarks!!
